Mia Kane graduated from Latin in 2012 after playing four years of field hockey and soccer for the Hawks, contributing to six state championship team titles. She went on to play field hockey at Davidson College before injuries brought an end to her competitive career. Kane graduated with a degree in psychology and moved to Dallas, where she began her professional work and took up coaching with a local high school. She moved back to Charlotte after four years in Texas and continued to coach with Charlotte Ambush in addition to her work as a consultant with Mercer. Kane returned to her alma mater in 2022 as an assistant to the varsity field hockey team. When she isn't working or coaching, she enjoys spending time with friends and fulfilling her goal of reading 100 books a year.
