Charlotte Latin School

Patrick Cooney joined the Latin Football staff in 2020.  He was an All-Conference linebacker at Dublin Jerome High School in Ohio and worked as a linebacker coach for St. Xavier High School while attending the University of Cincinnati. After graduation, Coach Cooney moved to Charleston, SC to teach and coach at Oceanside Collegiate Academy, where he worked with the defensive line for three seasons.  In addition to assisting the Hawks on the football field, Coach Cooney teaches math in the Upper School.
