2024 Season Summary

What an exciting season for our MS team. We had a lot of energy out on the field with five players that never played before, twelve novice players and a new goalie. Our team of 7th graders were in sync with a record of 4 wins and 3 losses. Our team was successful in learning skills, embarking on new plays and playing as ONE united team. The girls became corner aficionados, not only taking them but defending them as well. The energy of the team can still be felt when we see each other out in the school.

2023 Season Summary
We were a small but mighty team. The season started off a hot one which hindered us from being able to practice as much as we wanted. But the heat didn't deter us from working together, having fun and doing what we could to get better. The scores of our games did not always reflect how hard we worked or how much we continued to improve. This team supported each other as well as supported the 7th grade team when they didn't have enough players. Both the 7th grade and the 8th grade came together to win the Ambush End of Season tournament. The season couldn't have ended any better.

2022 Season Summary
Our 8th Grade team had a great season with our only losses coming against one team. As the season progressed our players came together to play as ONE team. Our skills improved as well as our ability to stay focused on the task at hand. We had a little adversity when we lost our only goalie in the middle of the season.  Players stepped up and traded taking on that role. That adversity helped us towards the end of the season when we were down in the semi-final to Holy Trinity and came back to win that game. We never gave up. We came up short in the GCMSAA championship against a strong Country Day team that had beaten us badly in the beginning of the season. The game went into a dramatic 7 on 7 overtime. Our final record was 10-3 and we scored 58 goals. 
 
2021 Season Summary
It was an amazing season for the 2021 8th grade Field Hockey team! We ended the season with a 16-0-4 record, winning the GCMSAA Championship and the end of the season Pride Tournament. We had a small team of 13 players who worked hard, played as a team and were a joy to coach. Our team was committed to helping each other get better and supporting each other as well. We were dominant against other teams in Charlotte. At the end of the regular season, we had outscored our opponents 48-4. This team has set the bar high for others that follow.
