2024 Season Summary
By Coach Collier
What an exciting season for our MS team. We had a lot of energy out on the field with five players that never played before, twelve novice players and a new goalie. Our team of 7th graders were in sync with a record of 4 wins and 3 losses. Our team was successful in learning skills, embarking on new plays and playing as ONE united team. The girls became corner aficionados, not only taking them but defending them as well. The energy of the team can still be felt when we see each other out in the school.

2023 Season Summary
The 7th grade field hockey team had a season of transformation in 2023. With a slow start due to heat and other circumstances, the season began with many games ending in a tie. As we got more experience, we built momentum, and we began to win more and more games. The season ended with an exciting win at the Julie Firr Middle School tournament against Providence Day in the championship. We had a great time learning the game throughout the season, and I cannot wait to see the girls grow as they continue their field hockey journeys! Go Hawks!

2022 Season Summary
Cheers to an undefeated season! Decisive wins became the calling card for the  2022 7th Grade Field Hockey Hawks. There were no ties.  Only two goals were surrendered the entire season. They never trailed. This cast of talented athletes worked hard in practice steadily improving their stick skills, stamina and game sense. Can’t wait to see what’s in store for them next year! Go Hawks.

2021 Season Summary
7th Grade Field Hockey wrapped up with an impressive 12-3-0 record. All three losses were redeeming matches, a good sign of the strength of field hockey in the area. A few highlights of the season from the girls: "I learned a sport I had never tried before," "Scoring the winning goal against PD in the last 30 seconds of the game," "Singing on the bus on the way home from Summit," "Varsity led practice," "Learning advanced dodges," and. "Feeling welcomed among teammates." What fun we had!
