Joe Teets joined the CLS community as a math teacher and a member of the athletic support staff in 2021. Through the 2024-2025 school year, he taught geometry and pre-calculus during the day, then spent his afternoons and most evenings teaching students all the tech and technique involved in sports broadcasting through Hawks Media Production (HMP). Starting with the 2025-26 school year, Mr. Teets primary focus will shift to expanding HMP while supporting students new to the Latin community with math tutoring through the Bridge Program. As part of the athletic administrative staff, Mr. Teets is an integral part of providing a positive game day experience for spectators (both in person and those online), athletes & coaches, officials, support personnel (clock operators, PA announcers, etc.), and visiting teams.
