Coach Vineyard joined the Charlotte Latin track & field program in the spring of 2023 and currently serves as a middle school assistant coach. She brings a strong background as both a high school and collegiate athlete, having competed in indoor and outdoor track & field at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where she was part of multiple ACC Championship teams. As a high school athlete, Coach Vineyard was a three-time team captain, earned All-Conference honors from 1989–1992, All-Region recognition from 1990–1992, and was named Conference Athlete of the Year in 1992. She was inducted into the Western Guilford High School Athletics Hall of Fame in 2025. She holds a BSBA (1996) and a Master of Accounting (1997) from UNC-Chapel Hill and spent over two decades in public accounting with Arthur Andersen and Deloitte & Touche before transitioning to being a stay-at-home parent. Coach Vineyard is a parent in the Charlotte Latin community, with two children currently at the school, Lexi (Class of 2028) and Britt (Class of 2031).
