Charlotte Latin School

Tyler Tafoya joined the Charlotte Latin basketball program in the fall of 2021 as the 8th grade boys' team head coach and an assistant for the varsity boys' team. A native of El Paso, TX, he played basketball collegiately for the University of Texas at El Paso (UTEP) while earning a degree in communications with a minor in business. His coaching career began in 2014 as an assistant at Wasatch Academy (UT), followed by four years at Western New Mexico University.
