Luke Ivey joined the Latin coaching staff in 2014. He is currently an assistant coach for the Varsity Cross Country team, and the head coach of the Boys Middle School Lacrosse team. In the past, he has coached Middle School Football. Coach Ivey teaches in the Upper School History Department and advises the Upper School Model UN, WorldQuest, and Mosaic clubs. He graduated from Vanderbilt University in 2022 with a M.Ed. in Independent School Leadership, and played Varsity Football for four years at Kenyon College, graduating in 2012. He is originally from the Upper Peninsula of Michigan, and resides in Charlotte with his wife and daughter.
