Charlotte Latin School

Matt Gilman joined the Latin coaching staff in 2022 as an assistant with the varsity baseball program. He previously served as a JV baseball head coach at South Mecklenburg H.S., at Langley H.S. in McLean, VA, and at Yorktown High School in Arlington, VA, which is his alma mater. Gilman earned All-Region and All-State honors as a high school player before earning a bachelor's degree in communications from James Madison University. After a 12-year career as a technology writer, Coach Gilman is now a stay-at-home dad. He and his wife, Samantha, have two young children.
