As detailed in the 2023 Spring Sports Wrap-Up, the Hawks had an impressive final season to close out the school year. In addition to three team state championships and one individual title, Hawks have earned accolades at the conference, state, regional and national levels. Thirty-five athletes earned All-Conference recognition, while twelve achieved NCISAA All-State honors. Two Hawks were named CISAA Player of the Year in their respective sports: Ella Smith for girls' soccer, and Evie McMahan for girls' lacrosse. Evie was also selected as the Charlotte Observer's Mecklenburg County Female Athlete of the Year. Three coaches received special recognition: Nikki Williams was named the Observer's Girls' Lacrosse Coach of the Year, Chris Berger was named the Observer's Boys' Golf Coach of the Year, and Powell Paguibitan was selected as the Assistant Coach of the Year by the North Carolina Soccer Coaches' Association (NCSCA). Additionally, track and field athletes established three new Latin school records: Morgan Smith (10'8" pole vault), Helen Hurden (10:59.42 in the 3200m), and the boys' 4x800m relay of Jackson DiRoma, George Smith, Webb Kiser, and Will Vaughn (8:09.97).
