Charlotte Latin School

Sam Tavino joined the Charlotte Latin faculty in fall 2023 as a Lower School PE teacher and immediately became involved in athletics by supporting the varsity girls' golf program. A former high school golfer and soccer player who went on to play soccer collegiately, Tavino earned a Master's Degree in Health Education and has extensive coaching experience that includes club soccer, varsity soccer, boys' tennis, track & field, lacrosse and basketball. Coach Tavino has two children in the Lower School.
