Charlotte Latin School

Stephen Starner has been a member of the Latin staff since 2003 and is the Co-Director of Facilities, frequently overseeing campus construction and other projects. He added coaching to his duties in 2014 and has assisted both the middle school and varsity wrestling teams, earning the Assistant Coach of the Year by the Booster Club in 2020. Coach Starner stepped in to lead the Middle School Mat Hawks in 2025-26. He is a class of ’98 alum and is the parent of two current Hawks.
