Coach Wilson grew up in Charlotte and began playing volleyball in seventh grade. She competed with Carolina Union Volleyball Club through high school and played Division I volleyball at NC State before finishing her collegiate career at Appalachian State University. Becky was named First Team All-Sun Belt during her senior year and helped lead her team to a second-place conference finish. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Cell and Molecular Biology from Appalachian State and a Doctor of Dental Surgery from UNC Adams School of Dentistry. Becky and her husband, Barry, are part of the Charlotte Latin community. Her sister-in-law, Emily Porter, is faculty, and her niece, Charlotte, class of 2038.
