Giovanni Mack was a prolific scorer during his high school basketball career in Charlotte, at Providence High School through his junior year, then graduating from Butler High School. He went on to play collegiately at Texas Southern University and UNC-Pembroke. After graduating with a degree in exercise science in 2018, Mack continued to play internationally in Istanbul, Turkey. Coach Mack joined the Latin staff in 2021 as an assistant to the varsity girls basketball team and added the role of head coach of the 8th grade girls team in 2023. In 2024-25, he became the head of the girls' basketball program and joined the strength and conditioning staff.Â
