Shelley Schuster joined the CLS coaching staff as a pole vault specialist for the 2023 track and field season. A four-time Virginia state champion in the event, Schuster competed for Liberty University and was second all-time in the LU record books during the 2011 season. She remains in the Top 10 in program history. Coach Schuster graduated with a bachelor's degree in exercise science and a minor in public health, then went on to earn a master's degree in public health. She is married to Greg Schuster, Latin Class of 2008, and has two young boys.
