Charlotte Latin School

Coach Thomsen has been dedicated to Charlotte Latin athletics for thirteen years, serving as a coach of three different sports, and achieving conference championships in each of them. She has been selected as the Hawkspy Middle School Coach of the Year twice, and earned the Steve Howard Excellence in Coaching Award in 2018. Coach Thomsen is the physical education department chair and has two daughters who are CLS alumnae.
