Coach Alt moved into the role of MS boys' soccer head coach in 2022-23 and continues to serve as an assistant to the CLS varsity boys’ and girls’ teams - a position he's filled since 2018. He grew up in Charlotte and was a state champion and All-State soccer player for Providence High School. He went on to play at UNC Greensboro and was part of their three-time conference championship team, while also earning a degree in kinesiology. After a 14-year career in the banking industry, Coach Alt completed additional degrees at UNC Charlotte for history and secondary education. He and his wife, Emily, have two children at Charlotte Latin.
