The varsity girls' golf team earned a 3rd place team finish at the NCISAA Division I Golf Championship, led by junior Kelsey Sciacca who claimed 3rd place as an individual. The two-day tournament took place October 21-22, 2024 at the Keith Hills Golf Club in Lillington, NC. It was the first time since 2018 that the Hawks were represented as a team in the tournament. For Sciacca, who competed as an individual in 2022 and 2023, it was her highest finish yet as she as steadily moved up the leader board from freshman year (10th) to sophomore year (8th) to junior year (3rd). Her play throughout the season contributed to her third consecutive year earning All-State honors. 

Junior Drue Amin also provided leadership to the Hawks, competing in her second NCISAA Championship and improving from 24th to 14th in the individual standings. Sophomore Annabelle Poovey, freshman Cecilia Clifton, and seventh grader Ella Sciacca rounded out the state championship team and made solid contributions. That experience will serve them well as all five state team representatives will be back next year to vie for a spot in the tournament. Congratulations on a great season, Hawks!
