Fall sports teams jumped into training over the summer and their hard work paid off in the championship season. You can read a full summary of the season here, including details of the NCISAA State Championship won by our girls' cross country team, and the runner-up trophy brought home by our girls' tennis team.
This fall, thirty two Hawks earned All-Conference recognition, nine achieved All-State honors, and three were singled out as players of the year in the Charlotte Independent Schools Athletic Association Conference. Senior Sam Alexander was named the CISAA Cheerleader of the Year, senior Helen Hurden earned the CISAA Girls' Cross Country Runner of the Year title with her decisive win at the conference championship, and Kelsey Sciacca burst onto the varsity girls' golf scene and won CISAA Player of the Year as a freshman.
